In this video, our NetSuite Consultant Jesse Guzman will talk about the Lock Feature in a Sales Order workflow.

The Lock Feature is used to lock a transaction. In the example given, after the Sales Order workflow has been approved, we do not want any users to make any modification, so we will lock it.

As seen below, once the Lock in enabled, the “Edit” button is gone.

 

A practical application would be to set an exception so someone like a Administrator could potentially overwrite it.
