We find ourselves in the midst of an implementation process, and the timing of the upcoming NetSuite release updates couldn't be more inconvenient. It's right in the heart of our user acceptance testing phase, which not only poses a risk of disrupting our testing but also threatens to delay our go-live plans. Historically, unless you were subscribed to premium support, you had no choice but to adhere to the assigned release update schedule. However, if your system is running on the OCI database structure, you now have the flexibility to reschedule these release dates to better suit your needs.
Here's how you can go about it:
- Log in as an Administrator
- Navigate to Setup 🡪 Company 🡪 Customer-Scheduled Maintenance
- Click the Reschedule button
You'll notice a Reschedule button within this section. Click on it to initiate the rescheduling process.
- Select the date and time
A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to select a new date and time that aligns better with your requirements. After making your selection, click the Reschedule button to confirm.
Upon completion of these steps, you will be able to view the updated release update time on the Customer-Scheduled Maintenance page. It's important to keep a few key points in mind when managing your release update schedules:

- You can only reschedule if your system has been migrated to or is already operating on the OCI database structure.
- You have the flexibility to reschedule as many times as necessary, except for changes within 72 hours of the current date. The Reschedule button will be disabled if you attempt to make changes within this 72-hour window.
