To Be Printed Checkbox on Pay Bills or Single Vendor

Written by Isaias Torres, Consultant | Oct 29, 2024 11:22:53 PM

NetSuite has a few options when it comes to paying vendor bills. Users can pay bills in bulk or pay single vendors. Depending on the Accounting Preferences setup the To Be Printed may be defaulting to check or true on the Pay Bills page.

This field in the screenshot below is only applicable to the Pay Bills page and not the Pay Single Vendor page.

If this box is unchecked on the Accounting Preferences, then when users access the Pay Bills page this field will also be unchecked.

However, this does not apply to the Pay Single Vendor. Users may see that the To Be Printed is still defaulting to checked or true, that is because the actual form needs to be customized. Pay Single Vendor > Customize > Customize Form you will able to set the field to uncheck here. The field can be found on the Screen Fields > Main subtab.

In the dropdown, users will be able to switch the value from ”Checked” to ”Unchecked” and save the custom form. Once saved, users will now see that the field is unchecked when getting new Bill Payments for Single Vendors. Users will still have the ability to check the field if they wish.
