Upgrade the WSDL Version Used

It is important to upgrade the WSDL version used, because:

• When your account is upgraded this year to version 2024.2, the oldest unsupported endpoint version 2017.2 is turned off automatically. Using this endpoint leads to a non-working integration and potential broken business process.
• Oracle NetSuite does not fix bugs in unsupported endpoints.
• The upgrade of your integration from an unsupported version is more time consuming than an upgrade from later supported versions.
• Old and unsupported versions contain obsolete technologies which do not meet current security standards. You might need to change the authentication process of your integration to use Token Based Authentication.
• Benefits of using an updated SOAP endpoint includes:
  • Higher number of exposed fields on the records to support the latest business processes
  • Order of the returned fields in accordance with the W3C XML schema standard

To ensure that your SOAP web services-based integrations continue to work, and you can get support, you must upgrade to a supported endpoint version.

Also, install the Application Performance Management SuiteApp from the Marketplace to see which unsupported endpoint version you are using.

This is what the suiteapp will display and allow you to quickly identify which integrations are needing upgrading.
