- Cloud ERP License Cost
First, the license cost of the platform. Depending on the size of your organization this may range from $1,200 to $15,000 per month or more. Keep in mind the publishers typically offer incentives if you pay for a year upfront or may be running promotions at different points throughout the year. A good Cloud ERP partner can help you navigate the licensing cost and select the right modules for you. Selecting the right modules is very important to ensure your organization has all the features needed and is not paying for unnecessary features which can add up over the year. - Implementation Cost
The next cost to consider is the implementation cost. There are several factors which will determine the cost such as the number of modules implemented, customizations requested and/or integrations to external systems needed. A good barometer for implementation cost is 1 – 2 times your first-year ERP license cost. Of course, it means a broad range as each organization’s needs are different. The last piece to remember, which can easily be forgotten will be the post go-live support. Support can be accomplished in several ways. Your ERP implementation partner will typically offer a support package with dedicated resources and service agreements. Depending on the size of the organization and the number of hours needed this can range from $2,000 - $10,000 per month. However, keep in mind there are other options. You can hire your own administrator and with the partners help train them to manage the day to day needs of the organization. Your partner will then shift to an advisory role and depending on who you work with, can step in as needed or when larger projects require their expertise.
